Meet Alex Leach, Parkpoint Sonoma’s Assistant Manager

Alex Leach, our new Assistant Manager, joined the Parkpoint Sonoma team in early June and has been busy learning the ropes, getting to know members, working with the staff, and everything else that goes along with club operations.

“Learning the systems and processes is the biggest job for me right now. Each club runs a little differently,” Alex shared. And he’s not just speaking of the Parkpoint clubs. Alex held the Athletic Director and Trainer positions at the Airport Club prior to coming to Parkpoint Sonoma. “Learning the operations is part of my training, as is determining how to best be available to members and staff. My goal is to be available so people feel they can approach me with questions, concerns, and comments.”

The Assistant Manager position deals with member needs and interactions as well as staffing needs. This is on top of helping run the day-to-day operations of the club. Alex is a graduate of San Jose State University where he worked with the university sports teams as an athletic trainer and also worked with the Saber Cats, the local arena football team. Alex has a strong affinity for team sports. He played hockey for the Santa Rosa Flyers and at the Junior College until he transferred to SJSU, where he picked up lacrosse. Currently he enjoys trail runs and mountain biking, specifically at Annadel Park. Welcome to Parkpoint Sonoma, Alex!
